StatBroadcast secures first professional basketball deal, reaches two-year agreement with WNBA’s Atlanta Dream

ATLANTA, GA. --

StatBroadcast announced today that it has reached an agreement to provide service on its statistics platform to its first professional basketball franchise, the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA.

The Dream will use StatBroadcast's StatMonitr platform for the next two seasons to provide a real-time stats feed for media and staff as the franchise begins the WNBA regular season next month; the Dream will play their home games for the 2017 and 2018 seasons at McCamish Pavilion on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

This marks the first foray into professional basketball for StatBroadcast, as it has adapted its platform to be fully compatible with the NBA/WNBA stats system. The StatMonitr platform now provides the same level of information and detail at the professional level as it does for the collegiate level, providing more statistical insight than any other real-time statistics platform currently available at the professional level.

StatBroadcast has previously provided statistics for professional sports franchises in softball (the National Pro Fastpitch League) and soccer (OKC Energy of the USL).
