bdGlobal inks deal with StatBroadcast for Vegas 16 Tournament

LEXINGTON, KTY. --

StatBroadcast announced today that it has entered into an agreement with bdGlobal Sports to provide stat monitors, live stats feeds and scoreboards at the inaugural Vegas 16 Tournament, taking place March 26 � 30, 2016 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Vegas 16 is a single-elimination postseason tournament for NCAA Division-I men’s basketball teams that are not selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament or the NIT Tournament. The 15-game tournament will be played over four days at the Mandalay Bay. Although there are currently seven men’s and women’s NCAA Division-I conference tournaments played in Las Vegas, the Vegas 16 will be the first “postseason” NCAA basketball event to take place in the city; this will also be the first college basketball event played at Mandalay Bay.

bd Global currently manages two basketball events held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena: the Men Who Speak Up Main Event and the MGM Grand Showcase; StatBroadcast partners with the Lexington, Kentucky-based firm for both events. Next fall, bd Global will also manage the first college basketball game at the newly constructed T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas script between Duke and UNLV.
