NCAA selects StatMonitor for 2011 Division I Football Championship Game

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- The NCAA and BCS Stats Systems announced today that BCS Stats' StatMonitr technology will be used at the upcoming 2011 Division I Football Championship Game on January 7, from Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas.

This game, which will crown the 2010 champion, will mark the third NCAA championship for calendar year 2010 to use BCS Stats' technologies, joining the Division I Men's Basketball and Baseball championships.

The Division I Football Championship Game is the final round in the Division I FCS Tournament. The FCS division (formerly known as I-AA) holds an annual tournament at the end of the season to crown its national championship, the only national title awarded for Division I football.
