Florida Atlantic University tabs StatMonitr for 2014-15

BOCA RATON, FLA. -- Florida Atlantic University has selected StatMonitr to use as its real-time statistics service for media and staff at its remaining athletic events during the 2014-15 school year, StatBroadcast announced today.

Florida Atlantic University is a public university located in Boca Raton that was founded in 1961 and has a current enrollment of more than 30,800 students. The FAU Owls field 18 varsity teams at the NCAA Division-I level and became members of Conference USA at the start of the 2013-14 academic year. The FAU baseball team has been the school's most prolific program, racking up nine appearances in the NCAA tournament including a Super Regional appearance in 2002 and setting the NCAA record for longest winning streak, notching 34 consecutive wins between February 19, 1999 and March 16, 1999.

FAU is the eleventh university from Florida to partner with StatBroadcast; all 14 members of Conference USA partner with StatBroadcast as part of a conference-wide initiative this year to standardize the stats information available across the entire membership.
