Marshall University tabs StatMonitr for 2014-15
HUNTINGTON, WVA. -- Marshall University will use the StatMonitr media stats system to provide media and staff with real-time statistics of its athletic events in 2014-15, StatBroadcast announced today.
Marshall University is a public university in Huntington, West Virginia, founded in 1837 and named for the fourth Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, John Marshall; the university has an enrollment of more than 13,700 students. The Marshall Thundering Herd are members of Conference USA of NCAA Division-I FBS and sponsor 15 varsity sports. The Marshall football team won two NCAA championships at the I-AA level (now FCS) in 1992 and 1996 and has won 12 conference championships.
Marshall joins StatBroadcast as part of Conference USA's league partnership for media stats. It is the fourth university from the state of West Virginia and the eleventh member of C-USA to partner with StatBroadcast.
