Florida International University to use StatMonitr in 2014-15

MIAMI, FLA. -- Florida International University has selected the StatMonitr media stats system to use at its home athletic events in 2014-15, StatBroadcast announced today.

Florida International University is a public university located in Miami, Florida and is a member of the State University System of Florida. FIU is the largest university in South Florida, the second largest in the state and the seventh largest in the country with an enrollment of over 50,000 students. FIU also has the lowest admission rate among Florida public universities. The FIU Panthers are members of Conference-USA in NCAA Division-I FBS and sponsor 16 varsity sports. FIU began its football team in 2002 in the 1-AA (now FCS) subdivision and made the move to 1-A (now FBS) in just three years, the fastest of any school to move to the top subdivision from a program's inception.

FIU joins StatBroadcast as part of a conference-wide initiative by Conference-USA. It is the ninth university from the state of Florida to partner with StatBroadcast.
