Louisiana State University tabs StatMonitr for 2013-14

BATON ROUGE, LA. -- Louisiana State University will use the StatMonitr media stats system for athletic events in 2013-14, StatBroadcast announced today.

Louisiana State University is a public university located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was founded in 1860; LSU is the flagship of the Lousiana State University System and the largest higher education institution in the state at an enrollment of more than 24,500. The LSU Tigers are members of the Southeastern Conference of NCAA Division I FBS and sponsor 21 varsity sports. The LSU Tigers clain 47 national championships, ranking them fourth all-time and including six in baseball (last in 2009) and three in football (last in 2007). The LSU football team has also racked up 11 SEC Championships and appeared in five BCS bowl games. The LSU baseball team is tied for second all-time with its six CWS championships and has made 16 appearances overall in the CWS, including this past season.
