Big 12 selects StatMonitr for 2013 Men's Basketball Tournament

IRVING, TEXAS -- StatBroadcast Systems announced today it has reached an agreement with the Big 12 Conference to use the StatMonitr media stats system at the 2013 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championships in Kansas City, Missouri this March.

The Big 12 Conference is an NCAA Division I FBS athletic conference, with ten member institutions located in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa and West Virginia. Established in 1994, the Big 12 is the second youngest of the major D1 athletic conferences, having formed from a merger of the Big Eight conerence. The Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament will feature all ten of the conferences men's basketball teams in a single-elimination tournament, with the six highest seeded teams receiving a bye in the first round. The tournament will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri between March 13 and March 16, 2013.
