University of Alabama at Birmingham selects StatMonitr

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. -- University of Alabama at Birmingham and StatBroadcast Systems announced today that the StatMonitr media stats system will be used at remaining home events through the end of the 2014 academic year.

University of Alabama at Birmingham is a public university located in Birmingham, Alabama. Originally established in 1936 as an extention of the University of Alabama Campus, UAB became an autonomous institution in 1969 and has an enrollment of over 18,000 students. The UAB Blazers are members of Conference USA in NCAA Division I and compete at the FBS level. The Blazers sponsor 17 sports and have won 43 conference championships. The men's basketball team has made 14 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, advancing three times to the Sweet Sixteen.
