University of New Mexico tabs StatMonitr for 2012-13

ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- University of New Mexico and StatBroadcast Systems today reached agreement to use the StatMonitr media stats system at remaining home athletic events throughout 2012-13 at the University of New Mexico.

University of New Mexico is a public institution located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is the state's flagship research institution and the largest institution in the state with an enrollment of over 35,000. The New Mexico Lobos compete at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Mountain West Conference. The Lobos sponsor 19 sports, including FBS football. The Lobos men's basketball team has won three MWC conference championships (2009, 2010, and 2012) and last year's MWC tournament championship; they have appeared in the NCAA tournament 13 times, reaching the round of 32 last season. The women's basketball team has won two MWC conference championships and a MWC-record five tournament championships, resulting in 8 NCAA tournament appearances.

UNM is the fifth MW school to partner with StatBroadcast. The conference also partners with StatBroadcast for its championship tournaments.
