NCAA renews its media stats agreement with StatBroadcast through 2013
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- The NCAA and StatBroadcast Systems reached agreement on terms today to renew the NCAA Media Stats site, powered by StatBroadcast, for national championship events through the 2013 Men’s College World Series.
This will mark the third year that the NCAA has used StatBroadcast’s technologies and the second year that in which StatBroadcast as functioned as its exclusive media stats provider. Under the terms of the agreement, StatBroadcast will again stream real-time stats to on-site media and institution staff for the the Men’s and Women’s College Cup Finals, the Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse championships, the Men’s and Women’s D1 Volleyball finals, the Frozen Four, all rounds of the FCS Tournament, the D2 and D3 football championship, all rounds of the D1 Softball and Baseball Tournaments, the D2 and D3 basketball championships and all rounds of the D1 Men’s and Women’s Basketball tournaments.
Also this year, StatBroadcast will provide stats feeds for the semifinals and finals of both the 2012 Preseason NIT and the 2013 NCAA NIT Championship, both of which will be played at New York’s historic Madison Square Garden.
