Virginia Commonwealth University to use StatBroadcast in 2012-13

RICHMOND, VA. -- Virginia Commonwealth University and StatBroadcast Systems have reached agreement to use the StatBroadcast Live platform at all home athletic events throughout the 2012-13 academic year.

Virginia Commonwealth is a public university lcoated in Richmond, Virginia, and has an enrollment of more than 32,000. The VCU Rams sponsor 16 varsity sports at the Division-I level and began their first year of competition as a member of the Atlantic 10 last week. VCU has seen its most success in men's basketball, winning nine regular season Colonial Athletic Association conference championships and eight CAA tournament championships, as well as earning 11 berths in the NCAA Tournament; in 2011, VCU grabbed the national spotlight, going from one of the last team's into the tournament field, playing in the First Four round for an 11 seed, to knocking off a one-seed in the Regional championship to advance to the school's first ever Final Four.
